Waray-Waray
Supposedly, another local name for Philippines's giant type of Sasquatch, or mysterious primate.
It has been suggested this creature might be a descendant of, related to, or even actually a Gigantopithecus, the largest primate that ever walked the Earth which went extinct 500,000 years ago.
This alleged cryptid is also known as Orang Gadang (Sumatra) and Kapre.(Eastern Samar, Philippines).
They are said to stand between 7½ and 12 feet tall — some reports describe slightly taller specimens — and to be covered with bushy dark hair.
Track history seems to point to a non divergent bulbous big toe, and the creatures are believed to be omnivorous. Sightings have been reported for centuries on the forests of Sumatra, the Philippines, and Malaya, a region rife with stories, hints and rumors of at least 3 different kinds of primitive hominids.
